Hiding the Authorized User Email in Arc
By default, Arc displays the email address used to generate the Arc license in the top menu bar. From Arc v3.5.1, this label can be hidden using a setting in settings.yml.
Configuration
Open settings.yml in the Arc installation directory and add or update the following parameter:
hideauthorizeduserlabel: trueThe default value is
false(email is shown). Set totrueto hide it.
Save the file and refresh Arc in your browser — the email label will no longer appear in the menu bar.
Use Case
This setting is useful when Arc is accessed by end users or clients and you do not want to expose the license holder's email address in the UI.
