Recommended TM1 Version

TM1 REST API

Must be enabled — set HTTPPortNumber in tm1s.cfg

TI Debugging

Requires EnableTIDebugging=true in tm1s.cfg

Important: Arc is officially supported on TM1 11+ (Planning Analytics 2+). Most features will work with TM1 10.2.2, but a number of important APIs are only present in TM1 11+. Cubewise cannot provide support for TM1 10.2.2 or earlier.

Enabling the TM1 REST API

Add the following to your tm1s.cfg file:

HTTPPortNumber=8111

Enabling Turbo Integrator Debugging

Add the following to your tm1s.cfg file:

EnableTIDebugging=true

Restart the TM1 service after making either of these changes.

Arc supports all IBM Planning Analytics security modes including:

  • Native TM1 security

  • Windows security

  • CAM (Cognos Access Manager)

  • OpenID

  • IBM ID

  • IBM PA SaaS v12 security keys
