Clear Arc Cache

If new plugins, UI changes, or updated settings are not appearing in Arc, you may need to clear the browser or Arc Desktop cache.

Clear Cache in a Web Browser

If you are accessing Arc via a web browser, press SHIFT + F5 to force a hard refresh and clear the cached version of Arc.

Alternatively, open your browser cache settings directly:

  • Chrome / Edge: Press CTRL + SHIFT + DEL

  • Firefox: Press CTRL + SHIFT + DEL

  • Safari: Use the Develop menu → Empty Caches

Clear Cache in Arc Desktop (Windows)

If you are using the Arc Desktop application on Windows, follow these steps:

  1. Close Arc Desktop completely.

  2. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the Arc Desktop app data folder. You can do this quickly by entering %AppData% in the Windows Explorer address bar to open the AppData folder.

  3. Navigate to: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\ArcForTM1

  4. Delete the cache folder inside that directory.

  5. Start Arc Desktop again — the cache will be rebuilt and any new plugins or updates will now be visible.
