Clear Arc Cache
If new plugins, UI changes, or updated settings are not appearing in Arc, you may need to clear the browser or Arc Desktop cache.
Clear Cache in a Web Browser
If you are accessing Arc via a web browser, press SHIFT + F5 to force a hard refresh and clear the cached version of Arc.
Alternatively, open your browser cache settings directly:
Chrome / Edge: Press
CTRL + SHIFT + DELFirefox: Press
CTRL + SHIFT + DELSafari: Use the Develop menu → Empty Caches
Clear Cache in Arc Desktop (Windows)
If you are using the Arc Desktop application on Windows, follow these steps:
Close Arc Desktop completely.
Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the Arc Desktop app data folder. You can do this quickly by entering
%AppData%in the Windows Explorer address bar to open the AppData folder.Navigate to:
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\ArcForTM1Delete the
cachefolder inside that directory.Start Arc Desktop again — the cache will be rebuilt and any new plugins or updates will now be visible.
