Pulse Web client session timeout

By default the Pulse Web client sessions timeout after 20 min of inactivity. To update the timeout value:

  1. Stop the Pulse Application Server service

  2. Go to the <pulse directory>/conf folder

  3. Open the Pulse.cfg file

  4. Update the setting SessionTimeout setting (timeout in seconds, default is 1200)

  5. Save the Pulse.cfg file

  6. Start the Pulse Application Server service

After Pulse times out, it cannot be logged in by refreshing the same URL. This is expected behaviour. On a time out, we have to close the browser, erase the Cache and log in.

We can always increase timeout in Pulse.cfg.
