Customising the TM1 Instance List by User
Pulse allows each user to customise which TM1 instances are displayed in their instance list. By default, all instances are shown for the public (non-logged-in) view, but each logged-in user can personalise this to show only the instances relevant to them.
Customising the Instance List
Log in to Pulse.
Navigate to User Profile.
In the User Profile page, scroll to the bottom to see the full list of TM1 instances.
Blue instances — currently displayed in your list.
Grey instances — currently hidden.
Use the arrow buttons to reorder instances.
Use the eye icon to toggle an instance's visibility (hidden ↔ visible).
Click Save to apply your changes.
Refresh the Pulse page to see the updated instance list.
Applies to Web and Windows Clients
This customisation applies to both:
Pulse Web Client — changes take effect after a page refresh.
Pulse Thick Windows Client — by default shows the public user list (all instances). Log in via Tools → User Login to see your personalised list.
Default Public View
When no user is logged in, Pulse displays the default Public user list, which includes all TM1 instances on the server. Individual user customisations do not affect this default view.
